Transfourming Sorrow 2015

Transfourming Sorrow

Stanfordville, NY

Transfourming Sorrow is a multi-sensory experience that pays tribute to two poets’ transformation: Vahe Vahian and Kardash. Vahian, a survivor of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, grieves over the loss of his homeland, his family and the death of his son in his book of poems, “A Monument to My Son.”

Kardash’s “Womb of Sorrow” and the “Field of Transfourmation”, invites viewers to not only mourn, but also transform their individual and collective sorrow.
