Partings and Landings is filmmaker Kardash’s story of four generations of his Armenian survivor family, which migrated from its ancestral home in Turkey to Syria, then Lebanon, and, finally, the United States. Various generations of the family adapted to life in each adoptive country, ultimately thriving once more in a new environment.
